The Rugby Skills Competition is a high-energy event aimed at developing young rugby talent by putting players through a series of skill-based challenges. The competition is designed for youth players from various age groups and skill levels, making it a fun and educational experience for everyone involved.
Purpose
The primary goal of the Rugby Skills Competition is to nurture and grow the rugby abilities of young players, while fostering a love for the sport and promoting values like teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship. It offers participants an opportunity to focus on individual skill development outside of a traditional match setting.
Structure
The competition is structured around various skills stations where players will be tested on a range of rugby fundamentals, under the following three categories:
